Corporate Assistance

Effective Corporate Assistance Programs (CAPs) contain two essential ingredients – providing discrete guidance to employees with personal issues and giving supervisors the tools to help them. CAPs help troubled employees and their family members with personal assessment and either referral or onsite counseling. These services are offered as a benefit to employees and their families.

Crisis Intervention via a Corporate Assistance Program is integrated into the workplace through meetings and various educational programs for supervisors and employees. Onsite directives to management in dealing with difficult personnel problems, substance abuse, violent behavior, emotional instability, and other issues all work to give the CAP leverage in the workplace.

A Corporate Assistance Program will cut insurance costs that would be paid for substance abuse treatment and mental health services had a situation escalated. Your Corporate Assistance counselor will not only impact your bottom line, but will allow you to have an impact on the quality of life of everyone in your organization.
